The hotel chain unveils ‘Buffet Waste’ within the framework of the Madrid tourism fair
Victoria López, president of Grupo Fedola, participated in the debate ‘Adapting to the environment’ of the #TechYNegocio forum at #FiturtechY
The Sales and Marketing team, led by Victoria López, president of Grupo Fedola, was present at Fitur 2023, the leading fair for tourism professionals. A meeting point for the entire value chain of the tourism industry to contribute to the recovery of the sector.
In this edition, the hotel chain reinforced the accommodation offer of GF Gran Costa Adeje, GF Victoria, GF Fañabé, GF Isabel and GF Noelia, as well as the nightlife offer of Las Olas Showroom of GF Victoria.
One of the great novelties of GF Hoteles is the reduction of food waste in the buffet through artificial intelligence. A tool designed to measure the amount and type of products that are thrown away each day whilst, at the same time, helping to find out in detail the dishes with the highest turnover at the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets.
Victoria López participated in the debate ‘Adapting to the environment’ of the #TechYNegocio forum at #FiturtechY. An event organized by the Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero and FITUR in which she highlighted the importance of innovation in aspects such as internal communication, training and promotion, to retain talent in the organization.
In addition, López stressed that the pandemic has disrupted relationships and the way people deal with work activity; that is why “listening and communication between colleagues is essential to regain trust.”
