The good occupancy forecast for GF Isabel allows it to reopen its doors at Easter

  • It is the first GF Hotel establishment to resume its activity on Friday 26 with more than 50% of reservations made, mostly by Canarian clients
  • The hotel chain owned by Grupo Fedola is once again committed to starting the activity with the intention of extending it to the rest of its tourist complexes throughout the spring-summer season

It’s the favourite hotel of the Canarian public within GF Hoteles; this has been decisive in reopening its doors and getting the activity off to a good start. With a percentage that exceeds 50% of occupancy and in the middle of phase 3 of restrictions due to the pandemic, GF Isabel shows itself as a brand that maintains intact the trust of the island’s clients for these Easter dates.

The chain has also taken into account the interest of customers for the spring and summer season. A large part of these reservations come from European tourists who can travel without restrictions, but the Director of Operations of GF Hotels, Juan Carlos de Leon, trusts that in the medium term the health situation will be better both in the main source markets and in the archipelago. “It is key to increase the rate of vaccination and not lower the guard of security measures, to increase demand and reactivate the sector in summer,” clarifies León.

All these security measures included in the chain’s protocol were activated in GF Isabel when it made its first reopening in the months of last summer. Its director, Cristobal Marrero, assures us that many of the guests know the hotel well and repeat, “because of the feeling of tranquillity and confidence that our staff transmits to be able to disconnect without worrying about anything”.

In this way, GF Hotels begins its process of reopening establishments that will continue in the spring-summer season. The chain, belonging to Grupo Fedola, has 3,100 hotel rooms spread over five hotels in Tenerife and has more than 900 employees.
