‘Calínico, Hoteleros X Tenerife’ shares its extensive tourist knowledge

This group, formed by tourism professionals, with more than 35 years of experience in the sector, visited the facilities of hotel GF Victoria.

‘Calínico, Hoteleros por Tenerife’, a group that has established itself as a benchmark in the island’s tourism sector, shares its extensive knowledge on a visit to hotel GF Victoria, where they were received by Victoria López, President of Grupo Fedola and Director of GF Hoteles, and Juan Carlos de León, Director of Operations of the chain.

This group, which works in an altruistic way, studying and contributing many years of knowledge about the sector, is a reference in the analysis of the Canary Islands tourist situation and has carried out important work in the tourist industry of Tenerife.

“Calínico is a reference group on a tourist level for those of us who work day by day in the sector, as they have not only many years of experience, but have also lived through all kinds of situations”, highlights the Director of GF Hoteles, Victoria López, who, in addition, adds that in some cases “they can be the solution for many things that are happening today. I hope to reach retirement and continue having the same passion and desire that they are showing “.

For his part, Eduardo Solís, founder and general coordinator of this study group, shows his gratitude to the chain and highlights the importance of “returning to Tenerife what it has given to us”. He also underlines that GF Hoteles is a Canarian company “which has impressed us, and which is doing things very well. On this visit, we wanted to know first-hand, in a hotel today, how it is done, how it works and how it adapts to all the existing technological changes “.

‘Calínico, Hoteleros por Tenerife’ is a study group for tourism trends and strategies which was founded in 2008 and is made up of professionals from the sector with more than 35 years of experience, most of whom have served as hotel managers on the island. Some of its members are still active.
