The Fedola Group hotel chain organised interviews, talks and networking sessions in search of new talent
In this third edition, attendees took tours of GF Victoria and were guided by the chain's own staff to learn about the operational process in each department.
Under the slogan 'We are looking for your talent', GF Hoteles held the third edition of the Open Day at the GF Victoria hotel, an event that brought together more than a hundred candidates interested in becoming part of the Grupo Fedola hotel chain. During the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the culture and values that distinguish the company, as well as participate in various training activities and job interviews.
The initiative managed to attract the attention of professionals in key areas such as bars, restaurants, floors, kitchen, reception and technical service. Candidates also had the opportunity to participate in direct interviews with representatives of each department, which allowed for a more personalized selection aligned with the specific needs of each area.
Ana Belén López, vice president of Grupo Fedola, who opened the event, highlighted the importance of creating this type of meeting: “For us, these events are not only an opportunity to meet new talents, but also to show who we are and how we work. We believe that the success of a company is based on the ability to attract and retain people who are committed, motivated and aligned with our values.”
Many of the actions of HR managers are related to staff retention. In this regard, Pilar García, Director of Talent Management at GF Hoteles, highlighted the importance of candidates experiencing the working dynamics of a hotel complex in person: “We organised guided tours of the operational areas as a unique opportunity for attendees to learn first-hand how each department works.”

One of the most inspiring moments was the motivational talk by the expert leadership consultant, Concha Hidalgo, entitled "Find your vitamin company", which encouraged attendees to identify work environments that enhance their personal and professional development. In addition, English coaching sessions applied to the work environment were offered, a tool that the hotel chain uses to facilitate language learning in a practical way and oriented to real situations in the sector.
This meeting reaffirms GF Hoteles' commitment to attracting local talent and creating new job opportunities in Tenerife. An action that is part of the Fedola Group chain's 2024-2028 strategy.
