GF Hoteles and the Association renew the collaborative agreement for the Reintegration of Anchieta Minors, whose objective is to offer the opportunity to incorporate people in social exclusion into work.
The agreement was signed by the president of Grupo Fedola, Victoria López, and the president of the Social Association for the Reintegration of Minors Anchieta, Verónica Polegre.
Youth, formerly wards of state, and mothers integrated into the Tanitas project, which gives impetus to women in social exclusion, will receive training in various areas and departments. In this way, they will have the tools required for the correct job choice or future professional orientation, which will improve their possibilities of integration into the workplace. “Not everyone has the same ease of opportunities and at GF Hoteles, we have the satisfaction of offering an opportunity so that they can develop personally and professionally,” said Victoria López.
This action is part of a plan of compliance with the hotel chain’s mission “vision and values” and reinforces the corporate social responsibility of the company. “The fundamental basis of the culture of our company is to look outward, but also to look towards our environment and offer opportunities for people with fewer resources,” Lopez added.
For her part, Verónica Polegre wanted to highlight the involvement of the hotel chain in this agreement that represents “an opportunity to complete a trajectory and gives effectiveness to the programmes in achieving diversity in the offers available for outcoming persons from the social exclusion of Anchieta”.
The Anchieta Children’s Reintegration Association was created in La Laguna, Tenerife, in 1973, to support children at risk of social exclusion and whose families, under no circumstances, can take care of their educational and guardianship obligations.
