Tenerife is the ideal place to enjoy the sea in all its aspects and all year round. Its coast from north to south offers spectacular beaches where time stands still. The contrast of the black volcanic sand beaches and the blonde sand beaches will make you enjoy a unique landscape. Today, World Beach Day, we present you the beaches of Tenerife from north to south.
North of Tenerife
The north of the island stands out for its black sand beaches, a real sight to behold. In addition, bathing in this area of Tenerife is one of the favorite places to enjoy magical sunsets.
Benijo Beach
Located in the Anaga Rural Park, it is one of the most charming places in the north to contemplate the sunset in Tenerife. It is a paradisiacal beach that stands out for its tranquility, its volcanic rock rocks and its impressive cliffs.
Jardín Beach
This enclave located in Puerto de la Cruz, very close to our GF Noelia hotel, was designed by the Canarian artist César Manrique. It stands out for its gardens of Canarian flora and for its unique shiny black sand. The perfect plan for your holidays in the north of Tenerife.
El Socorro beach
Ideal for surf lovers. It is located in Los Realejos and is one of the favorite beaches for both bathers and surf lovers. El Socorro will surprise you with its harmony and its unbeatable views of the north of the island. We recommend you to be careful when there are big waves.
South of Tenerife
The southern part of Tenerife encompasses beautiful views, a perfect environment and an ideal climate to enjoy both golden and black volcanic sand beaches. If you ask us to recommend the closest thing to paradise, the beaches of southern Tenerife are way too accurate.
Duque Beach
One of our guests’ favorite white sand beaches. It is located a few meters from our hotel establishments and it’s ideal for sun lovers. In addition, Playa del Duque has a promenade and is connected to other beaches in the south of Tenerife. Enjoy the views of La Gomera while enjoying a swim in Costa Adeje.
La Tejita
This heavenly beach is located in El Médano, Granadilla, next to the Montaña Roja volcanic cone. It is the perfect place to surf and various activities and also, water sports competitions are usually organized there. If you are passionate about surfing and at the same time you like to enjoy a good landscape, don’t think about it and come to La Tejita.
Diego Hernández Beach
If you like nature and want to disconnect in an atmosphere of peace and relaxation, Diego Hernández Beach will become one of your favorite beaches in Tenerife. A beautiful place of golden sand where you will enjoy freedom in one of the wildest and little-traveled areas of the island.
